Oreck Vacuum

Founded over 40 years ago, the Oreck vacuum was originally designed for commercial use in hotels. David Oreck’s focus was to create a durable, powerful machine that was also lightweight, replacing the heavy, awkward machines used by hotel staff. This strategy proved very successful, today over 50,000 hotels throughout the world are using Oreck vacuums. As more hotel personnel requested to use the vacuum for personal use, the idea for promoting and making available Oreck vacuum cleaners to the general public began.

Oreck vacuum cleaners offer some of the lightest and most powerful machines in the industry. This is evidenced throughout their entire line of vacuums, which include: uprights, canisters, handheld vacuums, stick, wet/dry, orbiter floor care machines and steamer vacuum. Oreck’s steam vacuum model is the Rinse-A-Matic Steemer Ultra. This unique machine works on both hardfloor and carpeted surfaces. It will scrub, rinse and dry hardfloor surfaces and shampoo, rinse and dry carpeted floors.

Canister vacuums include; DutchTech 1400, DutchTech 1200 series, Ironman, Super Deluxe and Housekeeper. Both 1400 and 1200 models offer either the Premium Power Head for carpet or the straight suction tool for hardfloor surfaces. The 1400 model is more expensive but offers more features such as mutli-speed control. Oreck Ironman weighs just 7lbs allowing you to roll or carry it with the convenient handle. The Super Deluxe is a powerful handheld model as is the Housekeeper but the Housekeeper also includes a shoulder strap.

The line of wet/dry Oreck vacuums consist of four PT Series models. Models range in size from 10-17 gallons with the larger models offering more accessories and features. Commercial line of dry vacuums includes two models PT57B and PT57BSS, both are used extensively in hotels. If you are looking for a true multi purpose machine consider the new Oreck Oribiter Ultra or the original Oreck Oribiter. Both models loosen embed dirt in your carpet for easy vacuuming, but they also sand, strip, scrub, wax and polish numerous floor surfaces such as tile, wood and linoleum.

Oreck vacuum upright models include the famous Oreck XL Series, Oreck XL Pro and Oreck ElectrikBroom. Ideal for dorms, motor homes etc. the ElectrikBroom comes in either single or dual motor models. Oreck XL Pro was designed to compete with powerful models such as the Hoover WindTunnel. Oreck XL Series offers four lightweight powerful models: XL Classic, XL Deluxe, XL Ultra and XL21.
