Since 1907 the Hoover vacuum company has been built upon its reputation of cleaning performance and innovative designs. Hoover engineers continue to develop some of the most advanced, functional vacuum cleaners on the market resulting in a line of vacuums that include: uprights, canisters, hard floor cleaners, handheld, sticks, wet/dry, central vacuums and more. In addition to the variety of lines offered, they have added a number of models to each line with varying prices and features. Hoover vacuum cleaner parts and accessories are easily found as they are perhaps the most recognizable brand of vacuum in the world.

Hoover provides consumers the choice of bagged filtration uprights or bagless filtration uprights. Some of the more popular bagged filtration uprights include the WindTunnel and Self Propelled WindTunnel, which rated #1 as tested by a popular consumer magazine. Hoover bagless filtration uprights consist of many more models than its bagged cousins. Popular bagless models include; Savvy – this particular model continually places at or near the top in numerous vacuum cleaner ratings, Self Propelled WindTunnel – based on results by ASTM International Test is more effective at picking up dirt than Dyson.

Canister models are the next most popular vacuum style next to uprights. Hoover manufacturers’ four models that incorporate a power nozzle agitator which is generally more effective on carpeted floors than straight suction. Available attachments allow for cleaning upholstery or sofas. Two models are offered with straight suction, this is ideal for vacuuming hard surfaces such as tile or hardwood.

Hoover SteamVac is one of the most well known series of deep cleaners on the market. To meet the various cleaning demands, Hoover includes eight models in the SteamVac line. Loaded with standard features these models are ideal for spot cleaning in heavy traffic areas by using either the SpinScrub Brushes or the hand tool which incorporates the same SpinScrub technology. The scrub brushes allow the cleaning solution to work deep into the fiber then they gently agitate the carpet and loosen up the dirt and debris for easy pick up into the tank.

The FloorMate line was created specifically to allow homeowners to easily clean hardfloor surfaces such as linoleum. FloorMax Supreme allows for buffing and polishing of hardfloor surfaces as well as effectively shampooing carpet. For smaller jobs such as on motor homes or boats a choice of four handheld units or a stick vacuum are available. At the other end of the spectrum for larger homes where optimum cleaning performance is desired a series of seven central vac systems with numerous accessories are available.
